The Three Cranes Challenge is a single or multi day trail run through the beautiful Karkloof valley in the KZN Midlands.  This ultra-trail run is based at picturesque Bushwillow Park and is a unique fundraising event which takes runners through indigenous forests with endless elevated views, through beautiful Shawswood, past the majestic Grey Mares Tail waterfall, through Willies Magical Garden, Mbona Nature Reserve, Benvie Gardens, Karkloof Canopy Tour ziplines and past  Ancient Yellow Wood trees.  There is no better way to test your endurance while running for the conservation of the Blue, Wattled and Grey Crowned Cranes.
